This grand Victorian Italianate house was constructed by the Frankfort Land Company, circa 1860. Built as the first house in Benzie County, to conform to the dictates of an architectural style, it marked a clear transition from the isolated frontier settlement to the prosperous Great Lakes port city that followed.

Our century-old Victorian home was once a boarding house for car ferry and lumber workers. This home has a rich history and lots of charm.
