With her interior decorations, Elisa has remembered her ancestors in Germany and has honored the German Immigrants who came to Texas beginning in 1840.

The original 1800's Mayer farmstead has been artfully restored. Every piece of wood and every attic "treasure" found in the old abandoned home has been incorporated in the restoration.

There are two cottages Cedar Tops Cottage and Winedale Cottage. They are located at opposite ends of a 63 acre ranch and each one has a private entrance
